Who Is Hiatt HŌM Solutions
We are a family-run business specializing in construction and property management. We pride ourselves on the amount of “word of mouth” advertising our business gets. It’s all about the client relationship and having you know that you can trust us in your home and the job will be done correctly every time. Hiatt HŌM Solutions was voted 2nd in Home Improvement in the Times Best of Acadiana in our first year of business.
Chris Hiatt - Owner
Chris graduated from UL with a Bachelor’s in Chemistry and planned to continue on to pharmacy school. Instead, he was hired onto a major oilfield service company and worked there for over 10 years. With a desire to create his own business, he finally took a leap of faith to go full time with Hiatt HŌM Solutions.
Chris is the face of the construction side – he does all of the estimates and works one on one with the client from start to finish. He runs a relationship-first kind of business. He isn’t one to get in and get out as quickly as possible to jump to the next job. He likes to really dive into not only what’s wrong but what is causing the issue to determine and fix the root cause. He knows that usually our home is our largest investment and tries to not only fix the problem but educate the homeowner about what and why things need to be done.
Jaci Hiatt - Owner
Jaci graduated from LSUE as an Xray technologist and went on to become licensed in CT as well. She has worked in Radiology at many offices and hospitals in the Acadiana area. After work and on the weekends, she began helping with the daily operations of the company and decided to pursue her real estate license. After getting her license, she decided to leave her career and join the family business full time.
Jaci is the face of the property management side – she runs the day to day operations. In keeping with the relationship-first style of business we have created, she works closely with all owners, tenants, and vendors. With her coming on full time, we were able to grow the construction company into what is now Hiatt HŌM Solutions and Property Management.
